INGREDIENTS

3 tbsp olive oil 50 g bacon, diced 2 pcs white onions, finely diced 1 pc red bell pepper, finely diced 1 can button mushrooms, sliced and drained 125 g gouda / cheddar cheese, diced 1 pc bread roll As needed cold water 300 g ground beef 300 g pork sausage meat 2 pcs whole eggs 2 tbsp sweet paprika ½ tsp smoked paprika As needed salt As needed freshly ground pepper As needed bacon slices 250 ml beef stock

PREPARATION

Using your Miele Induction Cooktop, heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium high heat and cook the diced bacon for about 1 minute. Add the finely diced white onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add the finely diced red bell pepper and sliced mushrooms and cook for another 2 minutes. Transfer the vegetable mixture to a bowl.
When the mixture has cooled a little, mix in the diced cheese.
Soften the bread roll in cold water for approximately 10 minutes. Squeeze the water out from the bread roll well, and mix the softened bread with the ground beef, pork sausage meat, whole eggs, and sweet and smoked paprika. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper.
Add the vegetable and cheese mixture to the meat mixture. Mix thoroughly, and form into an oval loaf. Arrange some bacon slices outside the meat loaf to cover it. Transfer onto the greased glass tray of your Combi Microwave Oven.
Place the meat loaf inside your Miele Combi Microwave Oven at shelf level 1. Select the MW + Fan Plus Function at 150 W + 160 °C for 55 – 65 minutes and cook uncovered. After 20 minutes in the cooking process, pour the beef stock over the meat loaf and allow to cook completely.
